Best tips for Reading on the ACT?

<p>Okay, so I've been preparing from Barron's ACT 36 and reading is not easy for me. It's very difficult for me to read and answer in 8 minutes! I lose my way through whenever I am reading coz I am reading at a faster pace than usual. Thus, I can't connect and eventually waste a lot of time. Please, someone help me! I really have to have to HAVE TO score above 30 in all! </p>

<p>What's the best strategy I should adopt.</p>

<p>P.S- I am a slow reader and reading was never my thing.</p>

<p>Seriously, read news articles quickly, and then try to see what you process and remember by doing so through that. When you feel confident in that, apply that strategy to your practice.</p>
