Hi,
I’m a junior in high school now, but Notre Dame is already one of the top schools I am looking at. I was wondering what some of y’all’s favorite traditions were from Notre Dame–and I’d love to hear about some that most people don’t really know much about. They don’t have to be sports related, but they can be. Any traditions that set ND apart!
Praying at the Grotto; walking around the lakes; Bookstore Basketball; 2nd floor of library studying; Keenan Revue; campus wide snowball fight on night of first snow; Junior Parents Weekend; going in the reflecting pool of the library on your birthday; dorm Masses, basketball in the “Rock”, Pep rally before football games, An Tostal weekend…
forming friendships for the rest of your life.
I hope you find this link useful! Watch the embedded videos too…

I highly recommend the book “God, Country, Notre Dame” by former ND President Father Hesburgh. You will not believe the amazing life he had and the impact he made…
