Hi! I am currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a college in the U.S. I am also an international student receiving a scholarship. However, I was thinking of transferring out to a better school. What are the names of some schools with the highest transfer rates as well as giving fin. aid at the same time? Do I have to apply as an international student again?

Yes, You are still considered an international student.

What do you mean by “better”? What are you looking for in a college/university? How inexpensive does the place have to be in order to be affordable for you?

I’m not sure that there are ANY schools that give great aid to int’l transfer students.

Where are you attending now? And what is wrong with it.

Either way, do not cut ties with your current school until you see the FA pkg at your new school.

Yes, you absolutely will be required to apply as an int’l student. You don’t have the documentation to do otherwise.

Being “International” is not determined by where you are right now. It’s based on citizenship/green card status. You aren’t a citizen or a PR, so you’re an int’l…even if you’re in the US right now.
