Best Transfer Schools

Hi, I was wondering which schools are the best school for transfer, in terms of overall experience and scholarship money available. For example, I heard Dartmouth transfer students ease into the new environment very easily. If anyone has any insight on this, I'd love to hear it!

Thanks

I've heard Cornell is pretty good.

Public institutions are the ones most used to accepting transfers, primarily due to articulation agreements, and often have special offices set up for transfer admissions and transitions. Some private universities with very large transfer populations and offer special scholarships for transfers include American, Cornell, Boston University, Tulane, and Northeastern.

For private institutions, Phi Theta Kappa, the general academics honor society for two-year colleges, maintains a list of colleges it considers transfer-friendly, particularly for financial aid. They're also opening CollegeFish.org soon, which is supposed to give transfer profiles for all two- and four-year institutions. It's just open to two-year college students for now, but it's going to be open to everyone soon. Might want to keep your eyes open for that.
