Best type of engineering?

Do you know where you got it? I am always looking for excuses to drive to Austin and that is as good as any.

Green tea ice cream reminds me of mochi ice cream, which is also quite delicious.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that frozen yogurt is the superior treat.

^ But that’s not ICE CREAM, which is what we’re discussing. That’s like calling computer science “engineering.” ;)

HAHAHAHAHA Do software engineers really think they are engineers?

PS: Whats the difference between Computer Science and Computer Engineering?

Amy’s Ice Cream, and my favorite was the Shiner Bock. It’s a really fun place, although I don’t think they are allowed to throw ice cream at people any more.

[Amys’ Ice Creams](http://www.amysicecreams.com/)

read the threads below this!

You clearly have not been eating the right ice creams.

cosmicfish, Amy’s is now near the top of my “places to go eat” list. Thanks for the tip. Haha. I can have it a dessert right after Salt Lick.

I can’t wait to get down to Austin - December 23!! With my luck, it will be snowing down there and 60 in Maine. It’s always colder when I visit Texas.

Maybe you bring the cold with you. It’s funny what the definition of cold is to some people down here. Coming from Illinois, it makes my day to see people bundled up when it is 60 while I wear shorts.

I remember when I was in LA and it was 59 degrees outside and bunch of people where complaining it was freeeeeeeeezing outside and all bundled up. I was still walking around in my shorts with light jacket eating ice cream. I know people that drive a long way to eat garlic ice cream but it just don’t it for me. We need more Food Science Engineers on top of these pressing issues today in search of the best ice cream.

Didn’t realize this thread would become such a rocky road. Sorry I started it.

You seem down Chardo, maybe you just need some Viagra Ice Cream to pep u up a bit.

^Wow… the relatively new guy comes out of left field and hits one out of the ball park!

Biomedical engineering is in high demand right now, but mostly with graduate level degrees.

Also, mint chocolate chip is the best flavor.

True ‘ice cream’ must have a certain amount of butterfat, density (air volume), and from unfermented cow’s milk.

‘Yogurt ice cream’ may have lower amount of butterfat but must be made from fermented cow’s milk.

Yogurt can be made from nonfat milk or milk of higher milkfat content. However, it must be fermented to some degree.

Such definition is by FDA Pure Food’s Act and with heavy advice from industry which benefits from minimum standards and definition.

you can probably google the terms for the exact definitions.

{previous life was in food production}

this is the most hilarious thread ive come across

You bumped an old thread. I read through the last few posts, and had no idea I started the thread.

BTW, I had Cold Stone coffee lovers this afternoon (after touring Hopkins, ironically).

Chardo, did you decide which field of engineering to study?
