Best UK/German/Dutch universities for recognition by Harvard, MIT, Columbja etc.

<p>I am a UK national applying for undergraduate in the US. Whether or whether I don't get into NYU or UNC, I really want to go to grad school in a very high ranking U.S. university and so I'm wondering which UK universities/ German universities would help me the most (assuming I score top grades). I'm mainly looking at Harvard, MIT, Princeton and possibly Columbia for grad school (to do Physics/Astrophysics)</p>

<p>UK universities I have applied for:
-UCL
-Glasgow (already received unconditional offer)
-Nottingham
-Queen Mary's university of London
-Exeter</p>

<p>German universities I am applying for:
-Heidelberg
-LMU Munich
-TU Munich
-Freiburg
-Göttingen
-Tübingen </p>

<p>Netherlands:
-Gronningen
-Leiden
-Amsterdam
-Utrecht
-Maastricht </p>

<p>So out of each country, what do you guys say would receive the most recognition out of the universities I have listed? </p>

<p>Tuebingen, LMU Munich, Utrecht. I don’t know much about the others!</p>

<p>I know TU Munich and UCL are both good schools that are looked well upon. As long as you’re somewhere with a solid program where you can get lots of quality research experience, the name of the school is probably less important.</p>
