Best Undergrad and Grad for Various Majors

Here's a few I thought of....

Business
UG: UPenn (Wharton)
Grad: Harvard

Wharton people are considered the elite or whatever; Harvard MBA's tend to be the most successful.

Comp Sci
UG: MIT
Grad: CMU

MIT is MIT; CMU just has a smaller graduate body and a ton of amazing research.

Physics:
UG: Harvard
Grad: Princeton

Every famous physicist went to Harvard for undergrad; Princeton has the Institute for Advanced Study.

Tell us what you think.

The gourman reports done this already. Thanks though.

"Every famous physicist went to Harvard for undergrad"

No. I guess Einstein's unofficial successor Richard Feynman (MIT undergrad), and Richard Feynman's unofficial successor--the current holder of Einstein's office--Edward Witten (Brandeis undergrad) are not on your list of "famous physicist[s]," huh? Harvard actually has a huge reputation for sucking undergrad.

To beefs: .... oops.

And I'm sorry, I meant every famous American physicist. Feynmann was too smart for Harvard, true, but like, Oppenheimer and one of my physics professors both went to Harvard (Oppenheimer majored in chemistry actually).

And yes, Harvard does suck for undergrad, but everybody goes there regardless, even people that are really smart and passionate about subjects that Harvard isn't amazing at (such as, idk, chemistry and stuff).

Then what do you mean by saying it's the "best?" It sucks, but everyone goes there so it's okay? It seems like you're just using Harvard as the default "good" school. I'd probably pick CalTech as one of the most rigorous and demanding undergrad physics programs, but there are many, many good programs out there.

"And I'm sorry, I meant every famous American physicist."

Feynman WAS born and raised in the U.S., as was Edward Witten.
