So I am wondering if people here have any opinions on the best undergrad b school/commerce programs in canada? I am specifically looking at the east side. I have heard that Queens, Schulich, Ivey are all good programs, but it seems to me that they are not globally known? My plan is to go to undergrad in canada and hopefully go to grad school in the state (wharton or columbia) I want to go to a school that is well known so that I have more 'options'.

I know that McGill is a very good school, but I’m not sure about the quality of their business school? also, why are you not being straightforward?

@nervousfreshie McGill is very good school with a good undergraduate business program that is internationally well known. In Canada, it probably wouldn’t be regarded as the best, but it has the most international prestige which is why a lot of people choose to go there. Western Ivey is a very good undergraduate business program, and Queen’s Commerce, and York’s Schulich are the other two great schools, as you have said. Personally, I like Queen’s the most, so that’s where I would say is the best, but they are all relatively equal schools that have good undergraduate business programs. I would recommend looking at each program’s differences and deciding which one you like best because they are all very different.

Between the three schools you mention there isn’t an objective way to say which is best (though I put Queen’s and Ivey over Shulich). What are your priorities? What do you want to go into? Are you sure you want business? Where do you want to live? These are all questions you need to ask yourself.
