<p>No but keep in mind that much of our society is computer and electronics driven. So I would rank them this way:</p>
<ol>
<li>Electrical engineering/computing/physics.</li>
<li>Biochemistry/Biology (M.Sc or Ph.D is better) for biotech/pharma</li>
<li>Mechanical engineering</li>
<li>Chemical/civil/mining/metallurgical engineering</li>
</ol>
