Or CS and Spanish minor; also, is this a good route to go to if one wants to become a software engineer? I have interest in CS but also love Spanish. Is it better to minor in Spanish than minor in something else?

You’ll be able to get call center jobs pretty easiliy if you’re bilingual and have a CS degree. You would have been valuable at Autozone when we were expanding into mexico and translating the POS, inventory, warranty, and other systems.

What you minor in hardly matters at all when it comes time to look for a job. Pick a major and then take courses outside your major that you enjoy. If one ends up being a minor, great. One thing you might do is choose a college in a city that has a decent spanish-speaking population so there’s plenty of opportunity to immerse.
