I want to be an English teachers and am looking for option in the U.K.
I plan on living and teaching there. Any suggestions for places to look at? Thank you.
If you could also add test/entry requirements that would be helpful.

Do you already hold a citizenship which allows you to work in the UK? If not, this may not work out for you.
Basically, the best route to becoming an English teacher is to do a first degree in English, then a one-year PGCE teaching course. There are some alternative routes, but that’s the standard.
Most UK universities will offer English; what are your current stats? If you’re in the US, you will probably need to have good AP scores in three or more relevant subjects - Lit, and a couple of other humanities usually - a language or history are good choices but not the only ones.
I know a girl that just recently got into University College London with the courses I plan to take (minus a couple, I’m taking a couple more writing courses). There are only two possible AP courses I can take in English, unfortunately. I do have a route to get a citizenship, so we will see how that turns out.
I’m still a freshman, but they already get us looking at Universities (to plan out courses), so I don’t have any scores currently.
Well, that sounds promising.
Uh… what do you mean by that?
The fact that you know someone who has done the coursed you are doing, and who has got into UCL. So that is obviously an acceptable background. Obviously not a guarantee, but still encouraging for you. Also, hearing that you are likely to obtain EU citizenship which makes a career in the UK more realistic an option.
