GTA San Andreas

San Andreas was a HUGE letdown... big and boring. (but i did LOVE vice city...)

How the hell can you call nightfire good...

Gamecube - Super Smash Brothers Melee or Resident Evil 4
PS2 - GTA Vice City, Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
PS - Final Fantasy Tactics, Metal Gear Solid
XBOX - They suck.
PC - Counterstrike, Team Fortress Classic, Silent Storm

i second ath's suggestion

final fantasy VII

SimCity 4
haha

i agree with ilovetocamp.

san andreas sucks.

vice city ruled.

maybe this is b/c i pplayed vice city on the computer for the better experience.

Contra for NES.

Ok, I'm by no means a gamer but here's my thoughts on it:

Super Nintendo (I refuse to use "NES") - Mario Kart
Dream Cast - Crazy Taxi
PC - The Sims (though I've yet to try Sims 2)

Ummm..Pc---Half-life 2 and mods..Hands Down

PC - Call of Duty

XBOX - Halo 2 (multiplayer), Knights of the Old Republic (single player)
Gamecube - Super Smash Bros Melee without a doubt
PC - you really cant say. I mean, how does one compare a game that came out last year to a game that came out when the USSR was still around? Unlike consoles, there is no definitive PC game that lasts forever. Every year brings a new crop of great games covering practically every genre.

NES - Balloon Fight
SNES - Chrono Trigger
PSX - Final Fantasy VII
N64 - Mario64 / StarFox / Goldeneye
PS2 - Gran Turismo 3
GCN - Tales of Symphonia
Xbox - Halo
PC - Half-Life

All-time - Chrono Trigger.

"Ummm..Pc---Half-life 2 and mods..Hands Down"

Agreed. CS still takes the cake. Forget platforms. In fact, forget video games altogether, as they are a waste of time. But if you must, play CS.

"vice city ruled.

Heck yeh dude, pc version is so much better, you can actually aim ur gun with precision enough like to shoot out peoiple's tires and crap

i remember that mission "GUardian Angels" where you have to protect Diaz, and on the PS2, thanks to it's crappy aiming system in first person, failed the mission like 3 times

On the PC version, thanks to the vastly superior mouse and keyboard aiming system, i beat it in the first try, and was much happier for the great aiming

I like Sons of Liberty and FFX for PS2.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Goldeneye for N64.
I also have a genesis, which were great for sports games.

I'm kinda surprised some of you here said San Andreas isn't as good as vice city. I read a lot of positive reviews for it. I don't have any GTA and want to know which I should get.

Also, if we can, we should rank games within a particular genre.

Ballon fight and contra ahhh the good old days of 64 bit video games

64-bit video games...? The NES had an 8-bit processor on it, and the Nintendo64 had, I believe, one 32-bit processor and two 16-bit processors.

Remember the code in Contra to get 30 guys: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, (select for 2 players), start. What about the code to get to Mike Tyson in MT Punch Out:007-373-5963. Or remember in the original Legend of Zelda if you typed player name as "Zelda!" You would go right to the second quest. God I miss the original NES.

the old nintendo! woo, mario rocks! as does duck hunt...lol i was SO good!
