I'm retaking the SAT in october.
the vocab on the june test killed me
what's the best vocab study aid?

I haven't used it yet but I just ordered it. It's called Direct Hits Vocabulary and apparently has many of the words on the sc section of the critical reading and it has good ways to help you remember the definintion of the words. I am also using Rocket Review's core words. It's about 320 words and together with Direct Hits, it's about 600 words.

Flashcards: The world's largest library of printable flash cards search for SAT

Kaplan, PR, Sparksnotes vocab lists

personally, i like sparksnotes over PR and Kaplan

There's a book called Word Smart that is really great.

I think many words in Word Smart look similar to those in Barron !

which one do u think makes u memorize faster and easier??

< i really need help w/ vocabs...but i feel that im not really makin progress by just memorizing, memorizing and memorizing :S

i feel like if i really try i can memorize them but i dont want to spend alot of time and energy on a list with no hits on it
