Is it better to apply “undecided” to have a better chance of admission and then transfer once enrolled?
I believe at VT you are admitted to the university first, and then admitted to the specific college. You might as well apply with your first choice major and list another or undecided as your second choice.
Some majors are not easy to transfer into like engineering and business. If you truly are undecided than apply that way but if you are looking for an easier acceptance and really want engineering I would caution against it.
