which way will u get into that college EASIEST
undecided and just change it later OR
a noncompetative major and just change it later OR
the major u want to do

<p>I would either go as undecided (if I really didn't know what I wanted to be yet), or I would sign up in an area that I have interest in as of now (which is that way that I went with since I have an idea of what I'll probably want to get out of my academic career). I would NOT declare my major yet because interests can still change over the coming months, or I might decide that I really don't like what I signed up for after I finally had a chance to try it.</p>

<p>but if the major you declare is impacted at the UC you apply to then your chances of being admitted by declaring get smaller right?! So would it not be better to apply undecided first and change later?</p>
<p>I don't know. I only applied to Michigan, Michigan State, and Northwestern so...</p>
