best way to prep for ACT? (first timer)

I'm going to be taking the ACTs for the first time on Sept. 10th. I will also be doing SAT prep during the summer for Oct 10th.

I was wondering what the best way to prep for ACT/SAT at the same time is, for my SAT i have Barron's 2400 + BB + Grubers Math. CR + W would be the same as the reading/writing on the ACT, the math is a bit tougher since it has some trig i hear, and there is a science section.

Anyone know the best way to prep for ACT? Aiming for 28 and higher.

bump^

10char

Have you learnt everything on the math portion? If not, get an ACT prep book to cover the content. Yes, there is trig.

Are you a fast reader?

For science, you need to be able to read from graphs and tables correctly and quickly.

There are several free preparing for the ACT booklets on the Internet that I think you should download and use to prep.

I"ve taken it before (Well 7th grade, unprepared, didn’t even know what was going to be on it, now a rising sophomore), but i’m using the Princeton Review 2011 book and it is great. It really breaks it down for you, especially in math.

^Agreed

Princeton Review eh?
(i’ll check it out!)
I used it for SATs…sucked lol…

As for the online sources, can any of you link me to the good ones you’ve used or heard about?
