Best way to prepare for SAT II:Physics?

I'm taking the SAT II: Physics in Novemeber. I have the PR and I took AP Physics B last year, but I got a 2. I plan to start studying after the Oct. SAT so I have about month to review/prepare. What are my changes of getting 650+? Will any other study aid help me?
And how similar are the AP Exam and SAT II?

I’m in the same boat. I received a 4 on the AP Physics B, but divine intervention had to be responsible for that, because I didn’t learn a thing in the class. I’m taking the test in October, along with Literature and either Chem or Bio (of which I know nothing), and I desperately need to know how to study. I have the PR (I believe) Physics SAT II study guide I bought off a friend for a few bucks - what else we need?

Cheers,

PRINCETON REVIEW PHYSICS SAT II STUDY GUIDE IS AWFUL!!! The book uses AP questions (not similar) and covers the wrong material. This came straight from my physics teacher after he asked which book I was using to prep for the SAT II. I got a Barron’s instead and ended up scoring 780 on the test.

Lets see. I used PR exclusively and scored 790. Does that sound like Barrons is awful ??? Instead of blindly taking the teacher’s opinion as an axiom, you should account for some subjectivity in people’s opinions. ;)

P.S. In my opinion, PR is very decent and covers very relevant material. It goes in enough details for one to feel confident on the test. If I had to summarize the PR book in one phrase, I would use the “no nonsense book”. In fact, questions on the test were very similar to those encountered in the book.

PR was enough for me to get my 800 and I found it very useful.

I have Kaplan for SAT II Physics and it seems to be good.

^ Kaplan explains the concepts well, but the questions in it are too easy compared to the test.

You need to start studying now. Even if it is just one hour a day. Practice, practice, practice.

I also got an 800 with PR. Budda’s analysis is erroneous.
