best way to prepare for the ap biology exam?

The test is in may. i have been using 5 steps to a 5 and cliffsAP and now I am wondering if I should get Barrons...

Taxonomy is a ton of info and I am wondering how I am supposed to remember things like Cyanobateria. Chemosynthetic bacteria, Spirochetes, Acrasiomycota, Myzomycota, Oomycota, etc..

Do these detailed names and their distinctions show up often on the AP Bio Exam? What is the best way to memorize these names?

Another thing: If I had to buy something else: should i get the Barron's AP Bio review book or the 500 Barron's AP Bio Flash cards? or is what i have more than enough?

my class is pretty bad... we have not done evolution yet and about 5/60-70 students that take the exam get a 5. i really need a 5 on this exam to get full college credit.

and if possible, does anyone know where i can get some helpful study guides, review sheets, or worksheets?

I’d study.

I’d say to stick with Cliffs. Barrons will get you even more confused on taxonomy. I took the test last year and only remember about 2-3 multiple choice with phylums of fungus, protists. You should know some/most of the animal, plant, and bacteria phylums since they are fairly straightforward. I wouldn’t bother learning those ones too much. Physiology, genetics, evolution, and DNA/RNA replication, translation, and transcription are much more important concepts.

Biology is memorization, mostly anyway.
