I took my ACT in the spring of last year with no real studying and got the following breakdown: 36 Reading, 36 Science, 30 Combined English/Writing (with 10 on the Essay), 29 Math. This summer I am planing on studying and raising English and Math (Math especially). I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas regarding the best approach. I consider myself to be good at math just very unbalanced (i.e Calculus came easily to me, I struggled with geometry). I know that a 33 composite is a fine score, and I am okay with it as well. I just think that having a 35 or 36 would be nice. Any ideas appreciated!
Thanks.

Trust me, you are going to need work in Geometry. The thing is, like every other math category, geometry has so many principles and rules, postulates, theorems, etc., and you just have to remember them all. Who knows what type of geometry questions the ACT will ask. What I would do is buy the Red Book, and pick out all the geometry questions, after I have taken the tests of course.
