best way to sell textbooks?

My D is interested in selling her text books from freshman year (Sixth College). What are some of her better options? When should she do this? Thanks!

One of the first places I always try is Amazon. You can sell them directly to them and ship them for free, but the one thing some don’t like is the fact you get an Amazon gift card. Personally I don’t mind because I can always buy next semesters books or anything else Amazon sells.

I personally think listing them on a site like craigslist or uloop is good. I personally buy most of my books on uloop. I think it’s free to sign-up and it’s specifically a college online marketplace and specifically for your school (just google uloop ucsd). Then just e-mail the person where to meet on-campus beginning of year, which is most convenient for a lot of people. Also a lot of people sold their books by posting flyers with contact info and prices by the freshman dorms or apartments, specifically near entrances or elevators, where people stop to look. Also plus about these methods is you get cash upfront.

Half.com is a good place to sell too.

I use Facebook marketplace and then arrange to meet the person on campus to make the transaction. I’ve seen people advertise through flyering on the door where the class lecture takes place haha.
