Best way to start an essay?

<p>Well the application frenzy is well underway and I know a lot of people are struggling with their essays. I am also part of this pack. What do you guys think is the best way to attack the essay?</p>

<p>I've been told to first think of an idea that fits the prompt and makes you unique. Then, try to write the entire essay in less than an hour using easy words . Next, ask people to read your rough draft and ask them about only the concept. Then, make revisions according to the feedback. Next, make it sound nice and show your writing skills. After that, get people to read you essay again and get feedback. Finally, make changes if necessary and fix small mistakes.</p>

<p>Anyone else have any good plans for writing the essay?</p>

<p>You'll get nowhere if you don't start writing. That's one advise I can offer you at the moment.</p>

<p>Other than that you're on your own. Put your imagination to work. And show them what makes you stand out. Think up what you would like to write about, and find a creative way of conveying it to the reader.</p>
