it’s free and oozes semiprofessionalism

oops, geogities is gone… but angelfire is still around.

I’ve been hosted with 1&1 for about 4 years now and I don’t have too much to complain about them except for this one little scare a year ago when my server disappeared off the face of the earth…

I’ve heard good things about lunarpages and also hostgator (:

If it’s just a page for a few links, you might as well use the free hosting that is provided with some domain registrars like godaddy.com (Then you can pay a yearly fee of around $10)

Dreamhost is amazing. Great customer service, and they’re a small company so you won’t get bogged down in the enormity of everything. Dreamhost.com.

If you already have a google account, a google webpage is pretty good and fast. It’s WYSWYG, but there’s a way around that if you have an html editor (and those are pretty easy to find as freeware).
