best academics, athletics, and social (equally weighted)

my list:

Stanford
USC
UCLA
Cal
Washington
Santa Barbara
Oregon
SDSU
UCSD
Oregon State

best academics, athletics, and social (equally weighted)

my list:

Stanford

UCSD
Oregon State

Stanford
Berkeley
USC
UCLA
Washington
Santa Barbara
Oregon
UCSD
SDSU
Oregon State

seems outdated and here’s why:

Stanford
Berkeley (socially and athletically USC has Cal beat, and academically the USC student body edges above Cal sb slightly) (UCLA students may not be as bright as Cal students but the social scene is better and athletically it’s similar, so that one may be too close to call)
USC
UCLA
Washington
Santa Barbara
Oregon
UCSD (what social??? sdsu as well as cal poly for that matter should be above ucsd if all three qualities are equally weighted)
SDSU
Oregon State

The previous lists only include large public universities (with the exceptions of USC and Stanford, both still large), which are usually well known mostly for their graduate programs. Dont forget the following exceptional undergraduate/masters universities which usually consider a more comprehensive approach to education:

Reed College (Portland, Oregon)

Gonzaga University (Spokane, Washington)

Whitman College (Walla Walla, Washington)

Santa Clara University (Santa Clara, California)

Trinity University (San Antonio, Texas)

what about the claremont colleges?

claremont colleges are liberal arts colleges, not universities.

Social is really up to the particular student.

So the following are academic and athletic:

USNWR (Academics)
4. Stanford
4. CalTech
21. UC Berkeley
24. UCLA
26. USC
35. UCSD
42. UC Davis
42. UCSB
42. Univ. Washington
46. UCI
58. Pepperdine

Director’s Cup (Athletics) - Div. I

[Claremont Graduate University: Welcome to CGU!](<a href=“Future-Proof Your Future - Claremont Graduate University”>Future-Proof Your Future - Claremont Graduate University)

hmm yea idk *** this is then…

[Claremont University Consortium, Claremont CA](<a href=“The Claremont Colleges Services – The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) is the central coordinating and support organization for a highly regarded cluster of seven independent colleges known as The Claremont Colleges located in Southern California.”>http://www.cuc.claremont.edu/)

or some of these…

Same goes for Whitman and Reed, in that case.

Hard to believe Stanford/Caltech and SDSU/Oregon would be on the same student’s list.
