i've heard a lot about men's halls, but which is the best women's hall and what characterizes it? i'm so excited about dorm assignments :)

unfortunately, everyone says their dorm is the best, so this may not result in many good response…lol

My freshman daughter loves it. It’s right by Lafortune (fast food, grocery store, bank) and the Main Building (Dome), and its a 5 minute walk to the main library (Hesburgh). It’s a classy old dorm…but no air conditioning. It’s really only hot about four weeks out of the year.

I’m just kidding about it being the best women’s dorm. They are all special in their own unique way. You’ll end up loving whichever dorm you draw. I hate to be cliche but you will make friends in your new dorm that will last a lifetime.

Every guy and girl will tell you something different. There isn’t any one best womens hall. If you like a girl in a particular dorm, that’s suddenly the best dorm. I happen to be dating a girl at Saint Mary’s College, so her dorm there is the best dorm lol
