Worst Experience: (1)Having my first class of cc with my ex who turned out to be one of those annoying guys who always has an opinion about EVERYTHING (I met him outside of school) and then having him apparently tell classmates we use to date. So for the rest of the summer I had random kids from class coming up to me and saying: “So you went out with ______? OMG why?”
Best Experience: (1) CC helped me get my life together, everyone needs a second chance to get into college.
(2) Having very good professors teaching me things that have never even crossed my mind. =]

Best: -Taking a sports broadcasting class and interviewing Ken Wisenhunt live on the air three days before he coached in the Super Bowl
-First 4.0
-Getting to know a Pearl Harbor Survivor

Worst:-Having to park over two miles away from school some days even though I have a parking pass because the lots were full
- Basically going to a high school with ashtrays

I never had to worry about parking :D. For Santa Rosa JC, i just walked, and for Cuesta, I take the bus. Alternative transport FTW!

Best: Having one of the most best math professors I’ve ever had since HS.

Worst: Is that teachers mom dying half way through the semesters and her deciding to not teach the rest of the remaining school term. Therefore, forcing a sub to teach our class who was the most annoying, tangent ridden teacher I have ever had. This guy wold literally go off on his own tangents for 3/4s of the class. Inevitably leading to more than half the class dropping and having to petition the W to be removed.

The Interview sounded awesome.

Oh trust me, it was. Once in a lifetime opportunity for sure.

Best: (1)Going all over the country (Texas and Florida) for Phi Theta Kappa and Science Conventions (2) Having done independent research and presenting it to professionals.

I don’t have much to say bad about CC.

Parking at my school always starts out terrible but gets progressively better.

Not… at… SMC… It’s horrible year-round.

thats gotta be a bi tch

@vertex

are you joking me? it got WORSE with the new structure! obviously designed by elco engineering students. I have an F150 and I have to wait for all the traffic to go around the turn or else there isn’t enough room. and only 1/3 spaces are long enough. none are wide enough. I have personally seen 7 accidents in that structure alone. /rant

on to my experience @ CC…what can I say? I met some of the most unforgettable people on the planet. sometimes I think my school life is hard, but then I remember about the teenage single mothers who have to take the bus to school everyday, or the young vets that come back home without family, friends, or an education trying to make a life. no fancy fraternities with chefs and garage parking. just saying, some people really have to fight to get their education.

Guess I don’t park in that structure enough lol. I’ve just noticed that I never have to hunt for parking in the afternoon anymore.

“hunt for parking” haha vertex is on the prowlllll. what a creeper

^but he’s right. first weeks are hell. I had my dad drop me off like I was in middle school again.

Worst: Testing into remedial math. Math, in general. Being in class with people who can’t read. Having to be in class with a bunch of young immature teenagers. Stressing out far more than I should have over stupid stuff.

Best: My english classes. Learning how to argue effectively and critically analyze. All of my gender studies classes. Online classes. Getting into some awesome schools. Being able to pave my own path now through my educational goals. :)

I love Gender Studies courses!

Another good thing was taking evening classes with older people. I was happy to see them going back to school to get a college education. You’re never too old to go back and improve yourself. And, for the most part, they took it serious unlike the younger kids.

Evan where are you going?

Now, or in the fall?

Right now, I’m at SD City College… in the Fall, either UCLA or Berkeley.

What school did you get into at UCSD?
