<p>To have the highest possible chances of getting in is it better to apply Early Action or Regular Decision? I have seen a few times that it is better to apply regular because they only accept the best of the best during the early action period.</p>

<p>Yes, exactly! Applying early to ND doesn’t show that you are more interested. Last years ACT average for accepted early applicants was over 33 and I believe in the top 1% of their class. Early is for the best of the best. They say that they make more conservative decisions, because they don’t know what will await them in the rest of the pool. So unless, you have crazy stats (which seeing as you are on CC you could, I certainly don’t), I would advise applying regular.</p>
<p>I don’t have any experience as I haven’t applied yet, but I’ve been to 4 admissions sessions (three in the past few months) and that’s what I’ve gather about EA/RD.</p>
