<p>nope, not true. USC is need-blind. It's just the usual 'sc-badmouthing. :)</p>
<p>USC has too much $$$ to be doing that...we arent a state school. ; )</p>
<p>Good question though...an important point for some applicants.</p>
<p>I was just at USC for my d's admission interview. I specifically asked them if she would have a better chance of being admitted if we didn't not specify an interest in financial aid. They said no, it makes no difference. The apps are come in by Dec / Jan and are evaluated independently from FA shortly after that. Financial aid forms don't get turned in until spring and go to a different office.</p>
