Better Curve?

Does the November SAT have a better curve than the October SAT? It seems like everybody is taking the test in October, right before early aps are due.

An SAT tutor told my DD (2 years ago, now) that the Nov. test was "easier." But, of course, that test is too late for early apps.

The SAT tests are "equated" with the experimental section so that you should get the same standard score (within the range of testing error of estimation) whatever form of the test you take, whenever you take it.

There are various rumors and stories about why one month ought to be easier or harder than another, but they are all just rumors and stories. Take the test when it is convenient for YOU and don't worry about it. Be sure to meet the deadlines of the colleges you are applying to, that's all.
