Better early action program?

Hi,
I am an international student from India. I have a little low sat score (1900) but extremely high sat2 (phy:800 Chen:800 math 2:800) and toefl score (110) .
I wanna apply to top notch computer science universities. Can you suggest which university will I have best chance while applying early. The universities I am referring to are HYPSM CMU.
Please don’t argue over my poor sat score but I can’t do better. I come from a small town in India and I need to commute 500 miles to give sat. My school academic record is excellent. (94% on ISC)
My ecs include some of the best in computer science. I am a certified hacker, have a specialization in web designing and know 14 programming languages. I also have 19 computer science certificates from various universities like MIT,Stanford . I am among the 200 students in the world to complete automata theory with distinction.

Can you please help me to decide where to apply early? And will my sat 1 score be given compensation considering my situation? Please reply as soon as possible.
Hope ccers will help me.

Those HYPS schools will be out of reach with a 1900 SAT. Not arguing, just telling the truth. Applying early, with your scores to those impacted schools will not make much of a difference.

The elite schools don’t want students who can only do math and computers. They want students who have something to add to the campus community besides computer work. There are thousands of your countrymen, from India, applying with CS backgrounds and with top level SAT scores, so your current application is very common.

Try to pick schools in other parts of the country, that might need your skills. I’m assuming that you need financial aid?

I agree. The schools on your list are most likely not in reach with your SAT, particularly if your are an international needing aid. Your application will be competing against other students from India with superior scores. If you need aid, I would look at schools were your statistics are at least in the average (preferably above average) and also be sure to consider schools in India.

@“aunt bea” and @happy1
I know that my sat score is low but I am thinking of applying in Stanford or Carnegie early and no one can stop me from applying . And I don’t require a penny of aid. That’s a benefit for me at these two schools because they aren’t need blind.

And does the toefl score compensate for sat verbal? Everywhere on Internet it’s written that it does. So tell me about Stanford vs cmu early

You are right, nobody can stop you from applying nor did anyone tell you not to apply. We are just trying to give you advice and suggest you have other, more viable options… You can take the advice offered on this board or leave it. TOEFL scores will not replace or compensate for SAT verbal.
