Better Engineering School?

We all know both are highly known for their engineering. However, which program is really the best? At the University of Michigan, tuition is only 26,000 a year; Master's degrees are offered in it, so one could start taking classes their senior year? At Rose-Hulman, they're focused highly on undergraduate education; however, no graduate level is offered. Things to consider: Better job payouts, better hiring, quality of education, etc.

Which school would you say is the better choice?

Thanks!

Keep in mind Rose Hulman tuition is nearly 60,000 and they’re known for large debt I guess

I assume you are in state for UMich, otherwise, the CoA would be around $55k per year. To be honest, there is little reason not to attend UMich CoE as in state student unless you have a very good scholarship from somewhere else.

Does it really matter to split hairs at that price difference? Or are you in a bragging rights competition with a friend? I’m sure there is quite a difference experience-wise. I can’t see that there would be a big difference in job opportunities or salaries. You can try to look up if those colleges or salary.com report such data be aware there are regional cost of living differences in salaries. But the level of coursework is likely as high as you want it to be at Rose Hulman and they do have graduate studies.
