going to california to study film, and someday hopefully become a writer/director, I dont have the money to pay for a big name Film school like UCLA or USC, so Im left with OCC and LACC, but i dont know wish one to pick, I want the one that has the best film program.

Can anybody give me some insight on this.

Thanks

I don't have a clue about Orange Coast College, but LACC is definately right near the action and a good school in general. Don't forget to check out Santa Monica College, if i'm correct it has the best film/photo lab on the west coast.

thansk fangsup15, I just cant make my mind up between these tow, ive heard great things about OCC, but LACC is right in Hollywood so thats why im having a hard time choosing.

Also another advantage of LACC, you get a lot of teachers from UCLA/USC teaching there part-time, especially during the summer sessions. For example my English professor teaches full-time upper-division English during the regular terms at USC and taught summer session at LACC for years (she's know at SMC during the summer because she moved and wanted to at least not commute during the summer).

seem like a great school, but ive heard great things about OCC aswell so i still got alot of research to do, but thanks alot bro i appriciate it all
