I am an engineering (petroleum) student applying to Texas A&M and was curious as to whether my chances would be even in the slightest increased if I chose to apply both for Summer and Fall. Is it possible my chances are better for getting accepted if I apply for Summer because the greater population will want to have a free summer then come in Fall?

I think it’d be better to apply for Fall, but only because the deadlines for both are the exact same day. I don’t think there’s as much of an advantage in applying for summer that most people think exists, but if you are already a student and have a good amount of hours then summer might be better to apply for.
