Are there any people out there who have scored higher on the real SAT than on the practice tests they had done in preparation for the test? I'm just curious as to whether or not some people thrive and are able to concentrate better in a real, pressured situation.

I have. I think it’s because I work better under pressure, and the real SAT put me under more pressure than when I took practice ones. For CR, on practice, I would generally get about 6 or 7 reading comp. wrong, and on the real one, I got 3 wrong with 1 ommit. On Writing practice, I would always get a few wrong, but on the real one, I got a perfect score on mc and the essay. I didn’t study math though (already had a 770 from the first time I took it)

yeah i got about 90 to 130 higher than my practice at the first time i took SAT. but i think it really depends cuz ive heard some of my friends who get much lower score than theyve expected.
