Where would it be better to study political science/government, Dartmouth or Georgetown. I've heard Dartmouth has the better academics, but you really can't beat DC in terms of location. What do you think?

What you've heard is accurate. Which is more important to you?

Georgetown is well-focused in the poli-sci field, but Dartmouth is academically of the first rank.

It all depends what field you want to go into?

either will provide you with a top notch education. go with personal preference.

If you want to work in government, or politics, Georgetown gives you a huge edge because of the location. The internship opportunities in DC are amazing.

when youre comparing the highest rated schools its like saying do i want the 100 billion dollars or the 110 billion dollars? both are amazing and theres not a huge difference, though there is a difference... but when you get to the higher levels it doesnt matter so much about the difference

and at gtown the internships r much better...
