First of all, please PUT ASIDE tuition cost because I have received my financial aid reports from both schools and USC gave so much financial aid that it is virtually the same if not a bit less than UCLA. I know UCLA's medical center is more prestigious that USC's but USC's medical center is on the rise. I am wondering about internships mostly, does going to USC give better chance for internships because of the fewer number of pre-med students? And also, how much of an advantage is it for USC of being a private school and having smaller class sizes?

Not any significant advantage one way or another. There are plenty of options for interships, especially during the summer. go where you are happier.

Ok, I am happy at both but yes thank you haha. Difficult decision

one factor you should consider is quarter vs semester.

this is why my neighbor chose UCLA over USC about 3 years ago. to prepare for the MCAT he took the winter quarter of his junior year off to study for the MCAT. he didnt start studying until mid. dec until the MCAT in mid march. he got a 41 and is a MD/PHD at Stanford. i mean granted this is not the only reason why he scored so high but i mean that with the quarter system you have a little more flexiblity

he loosely followed the advice in this guide

The OP has already made his/her decision since the deadline to choose was May 1.

^^^^
oops i thought the OP posted on 5/08 not 4/08 and had gotten off the waitlist nvm then

if cost is not an issue, go to usc, its a smaller school so you would get more personalized attention.

Decision to choose is May 1, but it doesn’t mean everything is official and finalized - even after he decides he’s technically not bounded, you can still change.
