I hate the AE jeans with the intentional holes and stains.

Buying jeans with holes is just moronic. About as moronic as buying a hat from A+F that already has rips on the rim and is faded. The whole point of buying clothes like that is to break them in yourself and give them some of your own "personality". I just had to "retire" one of my favorite hats because it was so worn out that the metal inside the dot on top had rusted(mostly from sweat when I workout) and the color from dark navy blue is now a wayyyy lighter shade of blue, closer to grey.

So you don't care about other non-AE jeans with intentional holes and stains?

-_-;

Such a brand-ist.

Those are the most worn and most visible, given that those who wear them are rich girls who don't know how to actually make their own fashions.

Thanks. =(

Although I do agree that buying jeans with holes in them is really, really dumb.

I meant that AE targets those people, so it is not surprising that mostly rich (white) girls wear this particular brand name.

haha...good thing that I'm neither rich nor white huh? The most expensive thing I've ever bought there was a hoodie that cost 9.99. :D

hoodie from AE for $10? i dont know how you do it. i go to AE all the time and i've never seen such a good deal there. lol.

Because I know the definition of "wait". =)

I'm Chinese. Of course I'd be a bargain hunter.

i dont get the part about "wait". lol. i dont know if thats ironic or not. do you mean..wait for something to go on sale? i cant drive so i dont get to the mall as often as id like, so if i need/want something i tend to just get it then and there.

haha...

There's a season for everything. Buy summer clothes in the fall and it's cheap.

Uhh...what?

Rich people don't shop at AE. It's mostly middle class.

Wealthy people shop at preppy stores, not AE.

actually thats not totally true. some rich people do, some shop at the places you consider to be the real preppy. being rich doesnt exempt people from shopping at our little middle class establishments. I dont know what you think, but i think stores like A+F are expensive. or at least they are if pay for your own clothes. lol.

I think normally priced AE clothes are expensive... geez.

AE is kinda trashy..So I don't like the prices. I don't mind spending $$ for something like Ralph Lauren for example.

Oh, speaking of holes and faded clothing..refer to
http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=jeans

Ok but I must confess. I have a pair of Levis that have intentional fading. But thats it! I swear!

Dont't worry me.duh- you are not alone. My mom has also turned me into a bargain hunter.

Yay for bargain-hunting.

A month or so ago I got three Ralph Lauren dress shirts that were normally $70-80 for $14-16 each and got two silk skirts for around $20 each that were normally $120+ last summer. It makes me happy when I find stuff like that.

i went to hollister last week and their prices are definitely much better than A&F.
