better school for chemistry CSUF or CAL POLY POMONA?

i recently got into both schools as a transfer student from the inland empire…

should i attend CSUF or CPP? which school has a better known program. i’ve done some research online and they seems tied, i’m not sure

Close call… I’d suggest you spend some time on both campuses and pick the one that feels best.

Im not sure about their programs, but I have visited the Cal Poly Pomona campus and was quickly disappointed. It looks nice in pictures, but in reality its pretty gross. Half of the campus was built on a sinkhole so the big pointy building they use in all their branding has to be demolished. It’s a huge commuter school so there’s a super busy road going straight through campus, and the small amount of dorms they do have are awful. One building is entirely “three-walled” dorms. How does that even work? Also, in order to keep the land they have to keep a certain number of horses and other farm animals on campus, so, unless you adore horses, your going to deal with a lot of gross farm smells. If I were you, I’d go to CSUF. If the programs are comparable then your going to get a much better experience at CSUF.
