Better score? Superscore?

For sending to MIT, HYP, etc, which would be better:

ACT: 34 (12 on essay)
SAT: 2320 (9 on essay)

Equal? Both good? Send both anyways?

Does the ACT superscore at all? I'm not clear on that.

The SAT score is considered a little higher [The ACT | ACT-SAT Concordance | ACT](The ACT Test for Students | ACT) but both are within range of each other. Some schools will superscore ACT but most do not.
I would send the SAT simply because of the 2300+ threshold being met. A 34 is more synonymous with a high 2200.

I would not worry too hard about the essay grades.

The SAT does superscore for many many schools, including the top schools. The ACT (at least to my knowledge) has limited superscoring schools.
