Better to answer more right, but not all OR answer all, but have potentially more wrong?

Okay so my tutor told me to take a practice SAT and a practice ACT, I had been studying for the SAT about a month and not at all for the ACT and I did equally as well. My tutor told me to take both tests untimed. I did basically the same for both. So now he says to take another practice ACT TIMED and I took just the English section because that’s what I’m worried will be my issue in terms of time, and I managed the finish then all, but my score for that section dropped from a 28 to a 24. What is the better strategy?

Untimed means nothing… spend long enough staring at the questions and something will come to you.

Take both tests, timed. Not just the English section, but both complete tests. Then do it again a week later.
