Better to double major or a major with many minors?

What is better here, double majors or having one major with multiple minors?

I'm entering my junior year studying advertising/public relations and am close to being finished with a psychology minor. My question is whether I should put in the extra work and change the psychology minor into a major instead, or should I just choose a few more minors? I'm interested in marketing as well as film, since film is the industry I would really like to find myself doing public relations/marketing work in, in the future.

So basically my dilemma is, which is better:

Advertising/public relations major + psychology major

OR

Ad/PR major +psychology minor, and other minors.

Which option would be more beneficial for me in the long run?

Minors don’t matter all that much, and double majors require a deep commitment to both disciplines (I’ve known really smart people switch in their last year from a joint major to a major + minor because they weren’t interested enough in one field to put in all the work necessary to finish the joint major, choosing to focus on the other). Just pick what you like to do. Are you really dedicated to psychology, to learn the advanced material and work for it? If so, do the double major. If not, stick to the minor. You can do other minors if you want, but there’s no particular benefit of getting the “minor” label in your transcript as opposed to just taking courses without necessarily fulfilling the minor requirements, unless you’re thinking of employment or grad school in a multidisciplinary area that includes those other interests of yours.
