Better to retake W classes or move on?

If you have a substantial number of W's on your transcript, should you retake those classes to improve your chances of transferring or simply move on and take different classes?

retake the classes, unless you know they will hurt your gpa

Well the classes i had to withdraw in i needed to graduate. I think the best thing is if you retake it make sure you get an A or B. That way they look at your withdraw and realize it could be for any reason. Not just for failing… Some schools do a WF or WP. To tell if you where passing or failing at withdraw time.

The thing about a withdraw is a school can’t just assume it was for failing. I had to withdraw from a class i needed because i just had to work more to pay the bills etc. Things happen and 1 or 2 won’t matter much i’m assuming if you retake them.

Though if you had like 12 withdraws on your transcript not sure how they feel about that ha.
