If a college is on the Common App but also has a personal form online, which is better to use? Do they look more fondly on their "own" app?

Many admissions counselors I have spoken with say they don't care whether it is their app or the Common App. Just make sure you follow all of the rules at the Common App website regarding requirements, supplements and so on.

I have noticed a few mistakes on the CA website in the past. While they were minor (about due dates and EA options), you should double check the school website and compare and make sure the dates are consistent, as well as any additional requirements. Don't leave this to chance!
