Im a junior going to be a senior next year, and I wanted to know what classes I should take or any summer programs that will help my admission chances.

On my schedule for next year I am taking AP calculus, robotics technology and fabrication(all year-2 semesters), Honors Physics, and gym.

For my last 2 classes I debating on wether to take industrial manufacturing(Year long-2 semesters) orAP English Language and Composition.

I would like to know which of these 2 classes will benefit me more and help me have a better chance to get accepted into MIT or Caltech. Also if there are any classes I should add or summer programs that will increase my chances.

The competitive summer programs that help substantially in admissions all had applications due in the winter and selection has already been made for this summer. It’s pretty late, but you could search for an internship or job related to your interests.

At this point it’s not about classes as long as you’ve completed the prerequisite Classes with very high GPA.mits about making sure you have a high GPA, lots of research shadowing and volunteering.

in order to get into MIT you should at least have taken AP Physics B in 9th grade and AP calculus AB in 8th grade. That way you could take AP physics C in junior or sophomore year and Differential Equations & Complex Analysis(DECA) in junior year. Good luck!
