My DD is accepted into SWP this Summer and waiting for reply from Iowa Writer’s workshop. Iowa Writer’s Workshop is the top creative writing program and Carleton is well known for best teaching. Personally she loves Creative writing. But SWP is also very helpfully in building up reading/writing skills. If somehow she is getting both of them, but can go only one, which program should she choose to go as a rising senior? She may apply LAC similar to Carleton in East coast (closer to home). Any advice?
