<p>I'm booking flight ticket for winter break. Our planner says that spring semester begins on January 15, and instruction begins on January 22. What happens between January 15 and January 22? Anything important?</p>
<p>I believe it's a welcome week for the people entering in Spring. </p>
<p>I didn't understand this before, so I accidentally booked my flight back on the 15th, but then I realized my mistake. I had to pay around $50 in changing my flight to the 22th. Not so happy about that...</p>
