I found out this morning that I received an 1810 on my SAT. Super-scored it is an 1830. My top choices are Drexel, Boston University, Northeastern, and NYU. There will be no more chances for me to improve my score, because I am taking Subject Tests on November 5th.
So should I send out my scores? Or would they make a negative impact?

you can still retake them in December.

Send your scores- I don’t believe there is a way around it for those schools and it’s not beyond awful. You didn’t list your individual scores but it looks like you’ve got about 610 for each section which is above average.
You could also consider score optional schools of which there are many good ones.

Critical Reading: 680
Writing: 620
Math: 530

Thanks for you suggestions.

Your scores are not awful. They are quite decent. Maybe not good enough for NYU or BU, but probably good enough for the other two schools you mentioned.

Take the ACT-my son did worse then that (if I remember right) and got high enough on ACT for scholarships

I am taking the ACT’s in a couple of days, so hopefully I can do better on those.

it wouldn’t hurt to submit your scores, because as a lot of counselors say, its only one aspect of your application. You have your transcript, extracurriculars and recommendations to help.

for NYU 1830 is low, but BU and NEU have accepted people with those scores before.

Yes, you are right. I might as well not apply to NYU, since I won’t be getting in anyway.

BEYOND AWWFUL???
MORE LIKE HORRIBLE!!!

no seriously, a 1810 is not bad AT ALL. It may not be the score you wanted, but for a lot of people a 1800 is a GREAT score.

reply to your post:
Apply to more colleges, look into more schools that may be safeties for you. You still have a shot to those colleges too, so don’t panic.

well if you are a couch potato you won’t get in anywhere. SAT isn’t everything, neither are grades. this guy, who was perfect in grades and sat, and was HEAD PREFECT OF SCHOOL and won a lot of competitions got rejected from stanford and harvard because… well I dont know why? because he is a couch potato? yup
