Beyond the scores

I was wondering if anyone could help me out
I want to apply early decision to Penn- probably engineering school
my credentials are as follows

2110 SATs- 710m,690cr,710w
3.7unw 4.0+w (Pretty much toughest courses)
SATII-690bio,700+mathI (waiting for results)

I know that these are weak for penn, but my strength is my science research background…

I was an Intel ISEF finalist last year
Seimens Westinghouse semi-finalist this year
Won over 10 local science competition awards
Spent all 3 of my summers doing science related things
freshman yr- took a course at stoney brooke u
sophmore- went to russia for a month to do research
junior- interned in lab at columbia for 2 months

also-
Student govt-3yrs
Key club-treasurer-4yrs
wrestling captain-4yrs
lacrosse-2yrs
track-2yrs
school paper-2yrs
tutored underprivledged children-3yrs
volunteered work at homeless shelter-4 yrs

Based on the above do you guys recommend i ED to Penn engineering or arts and sciences, or just save my ED for another school?

any advice helps

Thanks

I bet you could get into both, it really depends on what you want to study.

You seem to already be acutely aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Your scores are on the lower side, but your ECs make you stand out. I would say apply for engineering; I think you'd have a better shot simply because your ECs seem to back up your interest in the sciences. The research will also be looked especially favorably upon at SEAS.

So yeah...go for SEAS ED, in my opinion.

you went to russia thats awesome. are you russian? (i am) where in russia?
