@ginaf1102 My D was also waitlisted this morning. Her waitlist notification says she was waitlisted for “BFA Theater/Musical Theater” but I assume it’s all one waitlist? In the past, the waitlist isn’t too deep but not many come off, either. Maybe this year will be different!

I hate writing congrats and sorry all in one message, but I guess that is the way of this world. I hope everyone is managing well—I hate that the emails went out for everyone to get in the middle of their school day. Did all of them come out of Acceptd? Nothing yet from the tech department.
@momof2lefties - I agree 100%. News during school hours is very disruptive. They could easily set the release for 5 pm.
I just need all of this to be over. Knots in your stomach every day is not healthy (even for the parents! we’re just as invested in all of this as our children). My S is ok with rejections and holds up with all of this (he treated CMU as a rejection and laughed it off and he wasn’t wanting uncsa as much as I wanted it for him), but it’s the waiting to hear if it’s a yay or nay is numbing, he’s grateful and ok either way but the waiting.I had never imagined it to be like this.
I love that some were accepted EA and just cruising through senior year with grace and can focus on other things like Prom

Congrats all on cmu ! It was no for my son and he went to 5 rooms:( when is Rutgers releasing that’s his fav ? He loved it after CAllback weekend.
Have calls already gone out for Pace FTCV? I hear Pace MT calls began on Friday and that Pace BFA Acting should be any day?

Thanks @FourStars thanks! I’ve said this. He’s a straight Yes or No and he’s ok either way type of person. I think it’s great! They only accept so many it’s a huge deal to be considered. Hopefully we all will get word of the decisions that we’re waiting on. Each day seems like eternity when waiting
