Hi Everyone! So, I have been looking at this site and feel like you guys may be able to help me. I am a high school junior looking in BFA Acting programs. I came across AMDA and loved how I could study in L.A. and liked how you could start in any of their three semesters, not just fall (I'm considering early high school graduation, in December, hoping to start college for the Spring semester.) and liked how they have summer semesters so I could be done in much less time.
Sadly, this site seems to say bad things about AMDA. I loved the classes, (no need for general education classes, the way they put film classes into the acting curriculum, etc.)
So, I want advice. From people that have first hand experience. What is the negativity about? I know someone said housing was bad, but thats expected at a ton of colleges. I'm concerned about the education and the ability to continue my acting career post grad. Also, any comparison to USC, CalArts, or Emerson? Those are some other colleges that have BFA Acting programs I've heard about. Do you know if you can enroll in any of those schools in the spring? Do any of them have summer semesters like AMDA?

Any answers are appreciated :) thanks!
