As deposits are being placed down in the next two weeks, I am still at a block in the road. I have been accepted to Purchase's film program, which is known to be quite good, and I went to the Accepted Students day, at which we were told of how intensive the program is and how Film is basically all you study and you have to know its what you want and you must have a story to tell, etc... The teachers are very accessible and I spoke to a few students and they all liked the program.

Although, I was also accepted to Hunter College, and I've been considering it as I am not 100% sure I want to do film for the rest of my life. Although, what 18 year old knows, truly? I've only made about 3 short films and I don't have access to software to make anything anymore, nor have I really had any ideas. I know there is a lot I'm interested in exploring and that I think I could potentially enjoy. I've always liked my English classes and have been told my writing is good, and I want to explore that. Although the Film program is Writing intensive, I'm not sure if that is the sort of writing I want to try...
If I were to go to Hunter as an undecided major, I would want to take classes and explore fields such as education, foreign languages, journalism, nutrition, etc...

Lastly, transferring into a film program is just what I've been told is not possible. Going in as a freshman is the only option from what I understand. I am very torn with this decision, as there are so many things I want to try and I am so young I have yet to be exposed to different types of things, but I also don't want to miss out on an opportunity such as Purchase has given me....

Help?
